Domaine le Clocher Brendan Tracey Capitalisme Rouge 2018 12% (750ml)-Hop Burns & Black

Domaine le Clocher Brendan Tracey Capitalisme Rouge 2018 12% (750ml)

by Brendan Tracey

Pomegranate - Tangy - Funky

Brendan Tracey is a former journalist and radio presenter who grew up in New Jersey and came of age in San Francisco, where he was inspired in the 1970s by the punk anarchist mentality, before moving to France to pursue winemaking. This Loire red is one for sour beer lovers - a funky vin de soif that's light, tangy and zesty, with a hint of the stable. The grapes are hand-harvested and naturally vinified via spontaneous fermentation of direct press and carbonic maceration, then blended after one month in vats and aged in bottle. No filtration, no fining, no added sulphur.

Grape: 50% Pinot Noir, 50% Cabernet Franc

Pair with: Pork, game, poultry
