Beer Miles FAQs

Our HB&B Beer Miles programme allows you to earn and redeem your loyalty points (Beer Miles) at our Peckham and Deptford shops as well as our online store, with an exciting range of rewards. 

How do I get involved?
Joining is easy. You can sign up in store at the till or online - just click the Create Account button on our webshop to get started. Once you're registered, you'll be able to start earning Beer Miles.

How do I earn Beer Miles?
You’ll earn points on everything you purchase (1 point for every pound spent, excluding VAT and shipping) and can also earn more for referring a friend and following us on social media.

What can I redeem my Beer Miles on?
The first reward level kicks in at just 50 points, with £1 off. We also have a range of changing offers throughout the year, including T-shirts, glassware and more. A full list is available on the Earn Beer Miles rewards tab, which you can find on the left hand side of every page on our web site. 

How do I see my balance?
You can check your balance online at hopburnsblack.co.uk by logging into your account and clicking the Earn Beer Miles tab. You’ll be able to see what you’ve unlocked, or how close you are to the next reward. If you can't seem to log in, simply drop us an email and we'll send you a link to sync your accounts. 

How do I create an online account if I signed up in-store?
You'll need to sign up online using the Create Account link at the top right of the web shop (or in the menu) and ensure you use the same email as you use in-store - this way your online orders will automatically link to your Beer Miles account (otherwise you'll create a new account). If you're having issues, please drop us a line and we can send you a link.

Do points expire?
Points expire if you haven't shopped with us for 12 months, so please make sure you use them in time (we’ll remind you when you’re getting close). To keep them alive, all you need to do is make a purchase with us (you don't need to cash in your points) and they'll roll over for another 12 months.

How long does it take for my Beer Miles to show up in my account?
Points are added when your order is fulfilled - i.e. shipped or picked up in store. This is to avoid any complications in case of refunds or changes to orders etc.

Can I use multiple discount codes at once?
Unfortunately our software only permits one code at a time.

What happens to my Beer Miles points if I return a purchase?
When you return an item or purchase, you also return the points you'd earned when you bought the item.

How do I refer a friend? 
You can find the Refer a Friend reward by clicking the Earn Beer Miles Rewards tab at the left of the website, then clicking into Earn Rewards. Select Refer a Friend and you'll get a unique code to share with as many people as you'd like. For each friend that goes on to make a first order with us, you'll receive 50 bonus Beer Miles. 

I have an Online Rewards code that I haven’t spent yet – is it still valid?
If you redeemed a reward under the old system and received a code, this will be valid to use online for 12 months from the date it was redeemed.

How do I get help if I have more questions about my points/rewards?
Simply email info@hopburnsblack.co.uk and we'll be in touch. Please ensure you've marked our email address as safe, as sometimes these notifications end up in spam filters - we'd hate you to miss out.

HB&B reserves the right to vary the level of rewards available and the rate at which points are accrued, as well as the method of earning and redeeming rewards if necessary.
