For Patrick Sullivan's Jumpin’ Juice project, he buys fruit from local organic farmers to create light-hearted wines designed to be accessible and fun. For this riesling, the grapes are from 30-40 year old vineyards grown on red volcanic soils in Gippsland. These are whole bunch direct pressed to stainless tank and fermented using indigenous yeasts then malolactic fermentation, before being gently racked and lightly filtered with minimal sulphur added. On the nose is crisp green fruit and some stone fruit, with fruit and acid on the palate, savoury and dry.
